Who bowed out of the Jimmy Kimmel show (when the cast was invited) a few weeks ago because he didn't want to be on it with a bunch of serial animal killers?
Morrissey. He complains about everything.

It's not great and is definitely staged, but lets stop acting like its some sort of plague on humanity. The Robertson's are funny and seem really genuine,
You aren't missing out on anything by not watching, but don't let people tell you it's "what's wrong with TV today".

You missed out on the best camping treat ever invented: Mallowdogs.

Duck Dynasty is a great show, it may be scripted as all get out, but it's highly entertaining and a great show for all peoples to watch.

The wives are easy on the eyes, though.
Is the daughter at least 16?

Who's blasting it? I said I didn't like it. I tried. Didn't find it funny, at all.
But I also don't have a hunting background nor I own a single piece of cloth with camouflage on it.
So I guess I can see where I don't see the humor.

I really enjoy it and have never hunted in my life

Yes. I deal with people like that all day at work so I sure as hell don't want to watch them when I get home.

2nd this.

quote:This is the best description. The folks are obviously in on the joke and have no problem making fun of themselves. When Si has to say he's the "beaver commander" and has to try not to laugh so he seems like a good-natured innocent redneck, you can tell they are having fun with it.
They say its a reality show, but I think its closer to an improv'ed sitcom. The situations are clearly staged, and then the guys just riff off it.

My wife does all kinds of artsy related crap in North LA. She was at the Masur Museum a few months ago when the older brother was there. She said they made him do multiple takes because he wasn't neckin' it up enough.

it's a harmless show, i don't understand the hate. it's better that 75% of the shite on tv.

Ehhh, I can see your point there. I deal with dumbass trashy Mississippians all day and couldn't see myself wanting to watch some of them on a tv show.
I just figured ya'll as fellow Louisianians would want to support anyone who brings positive attention and money into the state.

I've seen every episode. I like it and I can watch it with the wife and kids without having to worry about anything.

It's the best scripted 'real life' show on the air right now.
However, I do agree that this season was WAY too predictable and the set ups are easily predictable and obvious.
BUT Uncle Si, Jace and Uncle Phil make it worth watching every week imo.
That and they have GREAT family values and virtues and I will support that just so it gets shown on TV when other networks try so hard to censor that and call that NOT normal (as opposed to the "new normal") and call them extremists because they pray together and shoot what they eat....and because they are successful from their own doing and didn't have to be propped up. That pisses a lot of people off these days.

these people that hate Duck Dynasty need to watch the Ryan Lochete show, that show makes DD look like an academy award winning show.

Ya, I always change the channel once they start wrapping it up and start praying. Dont need any of that voodoo in my house.
