you sure do like to preach in absolutes about creative works of fiction LOL...

The movie completely falls apart if the wormhole is closed. I’m sorry, Jonathan is mistaking the closing of the Tesseract as the wormhole also closing.

First off it makes sense Brand’s signal would reach humanity a few months after Cooper is rescued since time dilated for her in the same manner it did Cooper, roughly 50 years, so it would likely be another few months to make it to the inhabitable planet. If the wormhole is indeed closed behind Cooper, they’ll never get Brand’s signal at all.

It’s also never said in the movie that the wormhole closed behind Cooper at all. That would have been a pretty big fricking deal and mentioned since closing it has apocalyptic ramifications for humanity. Where is humanity supposed to go now? They’re still doomed if that wormhole is closed. So the entire plot was pointless and Brand is now going to have to go with Plan B.

The wormhole is closed.
the ending doesn’t make any sense.
those two things can both be true

Why do that when my ending and the ending which was quite frankly shown on the screen makes perfect sense? The ending Jonathan is saying completely undermines the plot. Sorry, I’m writing this off like most Blade Runner fans write off Ridley Scott insisting that Deckard is a Replicant when everyone else involved in the film disagrees with him. Jonathan is just simply wrong here.

I enjoyed it the first time I watched it (Imax was awesome), but I've grown to love it the more I've watched it over the years. The silly things (love transcends all lol) don't bother me like they did on first watch.

I agree. Inception truly took me on a journey. Very few movies do that, especially when it’s an original or adapted-from-book idea.

Wait really? These are my two of my most rewatchable movies of the last 20 years. I watch them all the time.

The trailer for Inception still gives me goosebumps Inception Trailer

Speaking of Christopher Nolan, can someone find this suit for me?

I love them both. I find that i am more willing to rewatch interstellar. The drama/sci fi aspect draws to me a bit more. The concept of inception is great, but after youve seen it a few times and understand all the levels, it loses a little bit of luster.

I prefer Interstellar over Inception.

Both are very very good, but Inception honestly just sorta doesn't make any damn sense.

And Interstellar to me is definitely rewatchable.

The end of Interstellar bugs me with Murph because him getting back to her is basically the entire premise of the movie. And then it’s just like “oh hey….well, see ya later..” I get that they both get their closure, and that he doesn’t know any of her family so he wouldn’t feel that attachment to them (or them to him), but still. It just felt rushed, but I get it.

I agree it felt rushed, but I kinda liked it. They needed to see each other, but Murph was essentially on her death bed and didn't want her dad to see her that way.

The ppl in the room not recognizing Coop doesn't bother me. He wasn't there to see them. He was there to see Murph.
