In point of fact I did not. But why pay $84 for a years worth of shitty product?

One of your points was the the normal ticket prices are too much, this was mentioned to show that it can be wayyy cheaper if you go see just 1 movie per month much less 3-4 a month

So this is a must see? Haven't heard too much about it.

But yeah, most people are pretty unintelligent. This is probably extremely pretentious, but if you have a modicum of intelligence you have to accept that most entertainment isn't made with you in mind.

It's easily among the best movies this year so far

I'm kind of going crazy with shite to do right now, but I'll try to make some time to see it this week.

I think I vaguely remember seeing a preview for it when seeing another movie a little while back now that I think of it. Does it have a comedy element to it? I think I remember getting that impression.

Yes, it's got some comedy but it's also very dark/serious at the same time. It's impressive how they are blended together

I mean, I liked it and found it darkly funny. The characters were all good. I didn’t love it though. It’s a film I’m very glad to have seen but don’t have a large desire to see it again, at least in the immediate aftermath. But a fine film.

I had such high expectations and some preconceptions for this movie, so honestly, it didn't blow me away. But a lot of that is on me because it didn't go where I expected. It's a movie that I definitely want to see again now that I have a better understanding of the intent. But there are also some WTF elements that make it a less than perfect film as well (covered pretty well in the spoilers thread). Still, easily one of the better movies of the year and I'm very glad they still make these despite the fact that they won't make much money.

My point wasn't about the complaining, bc there is a bunch of crap. It was about the people complaining and then not spending the money on the actual good ones.
In this global economy, it's not like more good movies will be made if I go to the theater and see this one. Got to keep the rest of the world from loving bad movies to affect the studios' bottom lines. Bad movies are the entertainment world's equivalent to soccer.
