kind of liking it so far. Although it's hard to buy damon wayans as the serious murtaugh. I like the guy playing riggs.

So far it's an early bet for a renewal. I've yet to see an episode but it's one of Fox's most successful new shows.

No Richard Dean Anderson, no care.

What gets me the most (I tried to watch the first 3 episodes) is that the original focused on MacGyver using science to build all of these crazy contraptions, where as this one just glosses over him making far less elaborate stuff. The whole point of MacGyver was him doing stuff like making a blowtorch out of a bicycle and some duct tape. This one just glosses over him doing far less inventive stuff while focusing on his buddy buddy relationship with the annoying guy they miscast as Dalton (who is annoying as hell). But at least the chick they got to play Nikki is hot, but she hasn't even been a regular up to this point (or at least the 3rd episode).

I love seeing obviously terrible shows get cancelled. It's like watching two trains heading right at one another.

I think I watch the show just for her. I'm half expecting macguyver to use a gun at this point.

I like it. The action is way too over the top unbelievable...it's one thing in a movie to do a crazy thing or two. But doing it every week get's to be a bit much.

But the guy playing Riggs is fantastic and I love the interactions between him and Murtaugh.

Not my favorite show, but it's something the wife and I enjoy together.

I like it, but I like Damon Wayans. He cracks me up. Maybe I'm not looking at it as a spinoff of the movie. It's not the greatest series I've ever seen, but good enough to tape each week and watch when I want. I like the other guy a lot. I hope it makes it.

Before watching it, I'd have guessed it would be canceled by midseason. After watching it, I really enjoy it and think that it could stick around for a few seasons.

It has a great mix of comedy/action/drama. The cast is great as well.
