It's already up on tv-links

If anyone is bitching about the ending while also bitching about the plot development, then y'all are hypocrites. I really like Quinn, but the faster Barney dumps her the faster the plot develops. That's just the way it works with him ending up with Robin. As other people said, I really want a good 10 or so episodes where we get to meet the mother. I don't want it to fade to black when he meets here. She has to be fricking awesome or I'll be pissed.

Do you really want that? Everyone bitches on here about how awful Ted is. Does he deserve an awesome wife?

We've waited this long and his expectations are so high, they owe it to us to make her perfect. I would also like to see some development to their relationship.

I think you will be hugely disappointed.

Then what will the finale be about? Doing that would kill the suspense and it's ultimately the corner the show has painted itself into. If we meet and find out who the mother is anytime before the finale, then there's no buildup for anything.

The build up is in place. The finale could just be their wedding or something.
eta. 10 was a very arbitrary number

I understand that, but they could have broke them up in a better way. One second they seem perfect for each other and the next they can't trust each other? Seemed forced. I really thought Robin would be involved, though I just guess that now this means Barney will cause Robin's breakup

I just hate the ending were getting not the plot development. Ive stated numerous times on the distain i have for Barney-robin and thats why i said fricking stupid.
ETA i think the biggest issue people have is that they will give you 8 filller episodes in a row that nothing happens and then when something does happen (like these two breaking up) it happens in like one episode
If you would arch these big moments in the show over a couple episodes, they would make way more sense. Dont give me 2 seasons of showing how Quinn changed Barney and how well they worked together only to take one episode to say "Oh I guess were not meant to be. Aww shucks" and for gods sake dont give me 4 seasons of evidense showing why two people shouldnt be together and then in one episode go "OH YEAH they always loved each other and are getting married"

This. I quit on the series for a while because Ted is a douche. He also screwed up so many good things because hes a douche. He deserves mediocre at best.

I'll just say it, this episode sucked balls
it was just way too ridiculous and stupid to even be funny...am I the only one that feels this way?

Pret good points. Not to mention that I hate Barney & Robin together. It's a complete relationship of convenience and they have ruined the potential of a great character in Barney.

I'm gonna try to let that play out before I say I hate how they ended up together. Even though I feel that it is forced, maybe then can play it out well

Who hasn't proposed to a girl and just been over it due to a prenup. The shite that pisses me off is that as bad of a couple that Robin and Barney were, everything is going to be great. Of course. That is until the wedding day when they both want to run away. Yeah, I'm sure it's just nerves though. This show went down the shitter the past two seasons.

I disagree with this stance entirely. This is about the entire build-up of their young adult lives. If we abridge meaningless relationships, then all we move from is Ted staring at Robin across the bar to meeting his wife at Farhampton. While Victoria and Quinn may be "wasted relationships," they are part of the show that allow has each character to further develop, whether or not we like that development.
Random aside, did it bother anyone else that Robin had a TV in the bedroom? Remember when Ted tried to move into Robin's place and she was strictly against TV's in the bedroom? Damn plot holes.

I think you missed my point. I have no problem with filler episodes or meaningless relationships within the show. That is not my issue. I love how those relationships develop the characters (Thats my biggest gripe about Barney and Robin getting together in fact)
My problem is having plenty of episodes where nothing actually happens in some of the main plot lines (let me finish) but then rushing major stuff by completely undoing everything youve been doing in one episode to move the story along without showing any reason behind that happening
If you want to break up Quinn and Barney, fine go for it but put some goddamn effort into it. We had a season and a half of those two growing together as a couple and it all ended in one episode where they both just shrug their shoulders after one fight and say "Oh i guess were not supposed to get married". Use a couple of episodes (where you obviously have room because you have soany filler episodes) and show them start to have fundmental relationship problems or something with substance. Its lazy writing plain and simple

Gotcha. I do wish there was more than Bob Saget saying "and they broke up..."

I really liked quinn
Posted on 10/1/12 at 9:45 pm to wish i was tebow
I did too. She has been one of my favorite characters that they brought on as an SO
Posted on 10/1/12 at 9:48 pm to Cap Crunch
she was hot as shite and was super cool.
im really getting tired of this show but have to watch to find out who the mother is. Teds break up with Victoria is going to be miserable
