I'm sure the same haters on this will be the people who hated Yellowstone.
I sincerely hope this doesn’t even resemble Yellowstone

The storyline looks very similar to 1883 from the previews.

Early reviews not great. 43% on RT. Most saying it’s long and boring. Will still see it but kinda bummed now

There better be some semiclosure or some type of ending for part one. I do not want a cliffhanger!

As are most Costner epics. Did they not see Waterworld/The Postman?
Just b/c it's long doesn't mean it's boring. Probably Gen Z.

First off, both of those movies are awesome. Well, they’re not boring, anyway.
Second, I agree with the guy who said it’s hopefully not like Yellowstone. Taylor Sheridan makes great movies and great FIRST seasons of television. But he tends to veer into ridiculous soap opera when there isn’t a clear ending.
Third, don’t care if it’s slow-paced and without a clear point. Kevin Costner can do no wrong in my book.

Told my dad about it on fathers day.
I'm excited for it.

I did kind of fear this would be the case. More on the long side.

I’ll be in theaters to see it as soon as I can. Costner, Western, count me in.
Costner has entered that class of prototypical cowboy. Along with Ben Johnson and Sam Elliott.

There was a thread last week, "can Westerns make a comeback?". Costner might be our last hope.
Nick Cage is gonna be pissed reading that.
