I have no idea what is going on with the Brody storyline but at least this didn't have the family in it.

Well, they could have ended it last season with everything wrapped up in a bow...but of course Showtime runs their series' into the ground.
What's the point of keeping this guy alive if they aren't connected to Terrorist and are Carrie's hookups? Just confused.

The series would have been a lot better had Brody's vest gone off in the first season. The writers have really painted themselves into a corner with his and Carrie's character.

Agreed. However, I'm almost at the point where I enjoy the scenes With the family and Dana in particular. The whole it's so bad it's good sort of thing. The family scenes are usually a riot.

That would work if I actually cared about his character.
I agree that he definitely should've been killed off at the end of season 1.

I was convinced the daughter/nurse was going to get shot in front of Brody for letting him go. I thought that would have been a pretty powerful scene, but all we get is "Stay away from my daughter."

Definitely. By now, Brody should be dead and we should be focused on some new bad guy. Instead we are watching him run up and down stairs and Carrie go crazy.

Creepy doctor guy is obviously some sort of sexual deviant they keep as a prisoner because of his medical skills
they are trying to make Brody a heroin addict so he will be more easily manageable as a prisoner
