I wish his schedule had worked for that "cameo" in Shazam. That would've been legendary.

It would be cool to see these other heroes go to Supes for advice, maybe cut to a mid Superman adventure and showing it’s just so easy for Supes(like Thor in Ragnorok)even have Supes offer to help but the protagonist of the film realizing they need to do it on their own(aka “why not just call the Avengers)...you could even have the protagonist show up JL HQ looking for advice.

If DCEU wants to rehab Superman, this is a very easy way to do it.

Then MOS sequel can have Supes feeling like Captain Kirk did at the beginning of Star Trek Beyond(“life is feeling episodic”) before he goes out to deep space in the DC Universe maybe heading to the Source Wall.

There you go, I just saved DC.

Awesome news! Cavill has the best look for Superman, especially with Superman in the DCEU being darker than prior versions. That darker aspect doesn't require as much subtlety in emoting and he nails the shite out of the darker emotes (the whole set of scenes against the gathered heroes after he's brought back to life, he's money).

Now bring on the Crime Syndicate!

In the 70's, new heroes like Firestorm would reach a point after a few issues where Superman would drop in. A mixture of "I'm here for you if you need me" and "I know you exist. I'll be watching."

There's suggestions that Henry Cavill's Superman is going to be just like the MCU Hulk, IE bouncing around from film to film in a support role.

I'm not inclined to support that considering he's the leader of the Justice League and is the moral backbone of DC Comics similar to the way Captain America is for Marvel. But Henry Cavill's Superman is just as good as Christopher Reeve so it's good to have him back.

If they insist on a set up like that, I want to see Superman team up with Shazam as they take on Black Adam and portray Superman's horror as he finds out Shazam is just a mere boy and he gets pissed at the Wizard for giving a child powers like that.

He does but if talks with Cavill and his reps fall through, they can always go with David Corenswet who is only 26 years old and is basically a younger Henry Cavill.

Superman is actually perfect to be a cameo guy for awhile. You want him to be the moral backbone? Sweet have other heroes come to him for advice.

I think it would be a nice bit of meta humor if in future movies he’s at an empty JL HQ, & he’s actually trying to recruit these heroes into joining the league.

Truth is we won’t know if the Snyder cut changes anything in canon, as Batman is supposed to die in that, right?

Man of Steel, I'm a fan of. Let Zack take this where he wants to. And let the studio people just shut up and not interfere.

This would be better for Ben Affleck's Batman. He's alright is small doses. Terrible as the central focus

Cavill was actually a pretty decent Superman. Superman can be the leader of the JL if they manipulate the script the way marvel did to suit their needs. So, why not make him to Ironman of this universe?

Put me down as a fan of Cavill.

He's really fun in his spy movies. I am really good with the idea of him being a cameo in a few movies and then do Brainiac for a justice league start.

So you like Man of Steel, not the movies on which Snyder had more freedom; but you now want Snyder to have more freedom?

Umm he was never given a proper Batman film.

But Superman works just as well.

If anything you make Bats & Supes the same way they are used to sell comics: by putting them into other peoples books (movies).

It would layer the DCEU while establishing the universe to do a big JL movie...

Superman in a Green Lantern Corps movie off world?

Superman in a Lobo movie?

Superman traveling through time with Booster Gold, meeting the Legion of Superheroes?

Give Cavill some breathing room in the role. Let other heroes look up to him.

You know, now that Cap is retired, he won’t be Evans’ shadow to the casual fans. Afterall, even Supes can’t be Cap.
