Help with movie title with a scene that features the NYPD "Taxi Service" ETA ANSWERED

There is a scene in the movie where a gang of thieves blocks in a NYPD cruiser which is part of the "taxi service" where the cops hire themselves out as a taxi for criminals.
After they are blocked in the refuse to open the doors and one guy pours gas all over the cop car and threatens to set it on fire. They give up and let the thieves in who steal diamonds, I think, from the fat bearded criminal the cops were escorting.
I can't for the life of me remember anything but this scene nor any of the nameable actors and my Google-Fu has let me down.

That's a scene from the movie "The Usual Suspects".
ETA: Great cast too. Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey, Michael Pollock, one of the many Baldwin brothers, Chaz Palmanteri, etc.

Thanks and that is so bizarre as US is one of my favorite movies but I haven't watched it in a few years. The scene was so vivid in my mind but I couldn't rewind or fast-forward to get to any identifiable actors.

That's because in that scene they were all wearing masks.

What I was saying is I couldn't fast-forward or rewind my mind from that scene to "see" any of the main actors. I could see the cop driving and the fat guy in the back in my mind but I just couldn't move away from that scene.
Thanks again, it was driving me nuts, the genesis was the OT thread on L.A. cops in secret societies which made me think of the NYPD Taxi Service.
