I don't have a lot of detail and I have tried googling. It's not Caddyshack 2.
Okay so all I can remember is it's kind of on an indie-like movie and pretty much the entire movie is in a parking lot.. maybe outside a store of some sort.. I think it's a woman, or possibly a couple, they may have a dog.. Maybe they are homeless? I remember the police come at one point maybe trying to help them, but there isn't much done.. The movie title may be a total of 2 or 3 words. Might be something like "So and So"... Probably made in the early 2000's.
Update- it’s Wendy and Lucy

quote:
A near-penniless drifter, is traveling to Alaska in search of work, and her only companion is her dog, Lucy. Already perilously close to losing everything, Wendy hits a bigger bump in the road when her old car breaks down and she is arrested for shoplifting dog food. When she posts bail and returns to retrieve Lucy, she finds that the dog is gone, prompting a frantic search for her pet.

Don’t know why but this whole rambling mess had had me cracking up the whole time
Can we get a genre at least??

Yeah nothing happens in the movie.. ever.
I would say it’s a drama.

There was a movie called Suburbia that was set entirely in a parking lot.

That movie is depressing as all get out.

Nah, stuff happens in Suburbia
It’s not a huge cast or a ton of people
This is just straight dialogue/drama
For some reason I think it’s a highly rated movie too.

Any nudity in it? Describe it if so. Will get better results.
Should be in a guideline for all name this film questionnaire threads.

Thank you for trying, but it's not a documentary.
It's actually a somewhat known movie. Once I see the name of it I could pick it out. It may be about a young drifter of some sort. I think the parking lot was abandon. It could be outside a closed down grocery store. I think the end scene is they finally leave and may have a dog on a leash.. walking like down a street with houses.
Their car may have also broke down which lead to them just staying in that parking lot?

Thanks everyone. It wasn’t any of those.
My awesome girlfriend (who has never even seen the movie) just saw my post and knew it right away.
Wendy and Lucy (2008)
