It looks like they are making 1 a year for the next few years. That really isn't THAT bad.

As long as they make good films it won't die out. I have to admit thou, I'm not a fan of them making a "Han Solo" film.

So far, they are bringing in heavy hitters and giving us confidence that they feel a responsibility to handle the property with respect but I am definitely worried that at some point they will turn the corner and try and milk it too much.

Things seem good for the next 5 years or so with direct storyline movies every two years with a spin off in between. We will see what happens 2020 and beyond. Where they go after E9 is a complete mystery.

We are going to get 8 and 9 with Rogue One next year and a young Han movie in 2018 but there is no publicly disclosed road map past that. That is when we will see what the long game is.
