Trailers looked good, and I always enjoy a good cop movie.

Think it looks perfect for Gerard.

However, I wouldn’t be shocked if it sucks. Looks like a movie that could flop, despite my hopes. I also heard it’s like two hours and 40 minutes long....which also somewhat worries me.

It’s like 40% by critics on RT, but close to 90% from viewers so I’m kind of hopeful.

Thanks for any advice anyone gives, I didn’t see anything else posted either about the movie so sorry if Germans.

It actually has positive reviews from critics on RT, which I didn’t think it would have.

Also above 85% reviews from the audience. Both numbers (40% from critics) are shocking to me lol, but I am cautiously optimistic.

I worked on this one and can’t wait to hear someone’s review. We had our opinion while shooting it but want to hear someone’s opinion.

I’m in lighting. There was dialogue we just did not care for in general. Actors were all nice but we just we were not sure how this story would translate in the end.

Isn't one of the lines in the trailer something to the effect of "these guys are addicted to robbing banks"?

I remember hearing a lot of big names had been tied to this film in the past. Then it just never happened.

I thought it was somewhat cheesy, but still overall solid action film. Reminded a little of the feel, tempo, and action sequences as The Town. I think the shootout scenes were pretty great. It was loud and raw like the shootout in Heat. Gerard Butler was basically a drunk Leonidas.

It was a fun film. As long as you go in knowing it’s your average shootemup with an odd twist ending you should have fun.

Isn’t worth the cost of the tickets and popcorn though but worth a paid stream at home.

Run time on IMDb says 140 mins. Seems like that’s pretty long for a heist flick.

Watched tonight on Netflix. Acoustics for the long gun battles are super crisp and wall rattling.

Twist at the end....I never saw it coming.

Solid movie.

Haven’t seen it, but the “40% by critics” reminded me of an underrated cop movie I really really enjoyed, Triple 9. Absolutely horrendous title, but tense, dark and brutal.

ETA: just realized the OP was from over a year ago.
