"Yeah, we're making a movie and we'd like you to play one of the title characters. What's it called? Um, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Yeah, we've already cast Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef as the other leads. Two good looking dudes if I say so, myself..."

He wasn't always ugly. He was quite the charmer as Silva Vacarro.

Baby Doll had never seen a man with such powers of seduction. Of course she really didn't have much to compare him with in Tiger Tail County, Mississippi.

Archie Lee was to 1956 what Uncle Si is to 2012. The rest of the world still thinks southerners are inbred rednecks. We give them no reason to think otherwise.

Eli was at the TCM film fest. They've also had Tony Curtis and Peter O'Toole. Interviews online.
