Your Daniel Day Lewis argument has kind of unnerved me a little. I'm going to chalk it up as a misunderstanding because if you go to IMDB and pull up his list he has about 4 movies you could watch over and over. That's it.

You're lucky Sonic isn't 24 hours. I'm sure we can settle this in the parking lot of a seedy Waffle House though.

He was great in Far Away and Tango n Cash. His brother is one of the goat directors.

Fix your op if you want to set better boundaries for the discussion.

Most of the responses are off of your list. Looks like you have a you problem.

Hanks is hard to beat. I left out a lot of his less manly stuff like Sleepless and You've Got Mail. Philadelphia is a good AIDS flick.

I agree the title and my post didn't add up. I edited. You're right, this time.

Every Hanks movie is worth the nickel.

He does comedy, drama, plays the meek, the tough, does romantic comedies, and all without being particularly handsome, young, or fit.

Your question is subjective af, but if you polled America, Hanks wins with DiCaprio in second. The rest always play the same type of characters.

You're getting too deep. It's just pick one actor and watch only his stuff. Who has the deepest well. Yes it's subjective but most people imo wouldn't have a problem with my list.

I agree about the type casting. Al Pacino has played the same character in the last 10 films he's been in. I was watching The Godfather the other night and I was like "who is this guy?" You think Serpico did it? Which Pacino movie did he become all Devils Advocate?

That's exactly the context that I answered the question under, Minister Goebbels. I just stated the reasons for my choice.

Ok ok, you did and I shite on you. I apologize. I don't take other people's opinions well. It's my cross to bare/bear.

This.

Why no love for Robert Duvall? I will watch anything he is in. One of his best, Second Hand Lions.
