The Devil's Own.
I'll throw out The January Man with Kevin Kline and Alan Rickman.
Also, not sure if Before Sunrise or Before Sunset would be considered "not very well known", but I like them.

Ravenous
That's crazy. I was gonna post that.
I thought Citizen Jane with Laura Dern was hilarious.

Good one.
Probably the funniest foot chase in any movie ever.

Amazingly confident film making. People don't want to see it because of the subject matter but it's first class skill as a director and Philip Seymour Hoffman puts in another great performance.

Terrible Blue Lagoon rip-off. But Phoebe...yup, she makes up for it in spades.

I agree with all of this.
Please tell me you saw Welcome to the Dollhouse.

Man, that one is not ringing a bell at all...that looks like very, very early Ed Harris.

1984. His best performance IMO. It's a Victor Nunez film(Ulee's Gold)based on a novel from the 60s by John D. MacDonald(Cape Fear).
Warning though as the kids say, it's slow

I might have a long time ago - but I don't remember. So I probably didn't see it. I haven't seen Storytelling either.

Judgment Night
Just watched due to the recommendation. An entertaining movie to some degree but not a great movie by any means. A small Saturday Matinee type.

Lone Star is great but Never Let me Go was just recently a popular film.
Epic gang film with a real story.
