yall might be missing something here. it's being made obvious that LF want's Sansa, but i think in the episode preview, that scene he will say Winterfell(i.e. The North)

No, she rode off then Ramsey made the remark about not feeding the hounds for 7 days when threatening the "treasonous Lords". Sansa rode off after she told Ramsey he would die tomorrow and to sleep well.

Because he knows they're an incompetent, treasonist household that will likely turn on a dime against the Lannisters as well if the time care. He has a Tully installed at Riverrun who definitely won't object to them being eliminated and Edmure is essentially under the Lannister's power at this point anyway.
I think he's struggling with the things that were done in the Lannister name to the Starks because there is still that little bit of good in him. He still feels like he needs to make something right. And he doesn't give a shite about taking out a house.

Maybe, but remember, after Littlefinger killed Lysa and Sansa saved him, she basically implied she knows he wants her. I'm assuming that's how it will play out.

Just another way in which Cat fricked everything up for everyone.
