Catelynn will tell him to ask for guest right and explain he can't be touched. That will put the watchers at ease. The Red Wedding started off well. Everyone was having fun. Then boom went the dynamite. I think the show watchers will be more than surprised with how bad shite goes down.
I feel like this is indirectly calling attention to them possibly being killed them at the wedding. Basically its saying hey, they're not allowed to kill us, so obviously, thats exactly what is going to happen because that's what GRRM does.

That was the biggest thing I picked up during reread.

I think it would be better to make mention of guest rights at Tyrian and Sansa wedding or with dany an te slaver for that reason.

Also, I think Joffrey is getting pissed at his grandpa and is going to have him killed. With Tywin dead, all those marriages are off, and shite in King's Landing will be chaotic. That's when Dany arrives in KL and Robb gets to Casterly Rock. The Lannister and Tyrell forces will be split and they go down easy. Just my theory.
God I can't wait for Episode 9. Going to be incredibly entertaining to read their thread. Please absolutely no hints to the readers.

Well, this was just posted in the Hodor thread so...

You might be giving them too much credit.

Powertool seems to be getting closer.
But damn that is a dumb theory on what's going to happen.

Season 3, and they still haven't figured out that nothing in this story is getting wrapped up neat and tidy with a bow on it.

This discussion about guest rights got me googling and I came across an interesting thread on another board about who can be said to have violated guest rights in the books.
- I'll take it to the crackpot thread because it might be going a little far afield on this episode thread.

Just post it i am curious

OK. Here's the discussion.
Most seem to think that Jamie and the Queen of Thorns would be in violation.

I'd say the Queen of Thorns was definitely in violation. I don't really see Jaime though. Maybe slightly, but he didn't actively plot on it. Olenna and the Freys just didn't give damn though.

If my home was burned and all my people killed, I would go there first. Always surprised that Rob didn't go to Winterfell right away, or at least send some men there.
Well, if I remember correctly, that's what he is trying to do. He needs the Freys bridge to attack Moat Caitlin so he can get home.

Who are we talking about the Queen of Thorns killing? Joffrey? Makes sense. Why would Jaime be in violation of it? If it's because of Bran, he threw Bran out of the window at his own castle

Yea that thread was retarded. I think guests right only refer to a host killing an invited guest who thought he was safe

Agreed. Not sure how a guest could violate guest rights when those rights are related to how the guest is safe from the host.
Of course the person who started that thread on Westeros is clearly not to on top of things since they had Manderly on the list in the first place.

I thought you had posted this in the other thread at first.
