I don't know how you could've watched her coming in, all non-verbal, and not assume she's pretty shaken. And the show has definitely changed motivations and moods from the books, so it doesn't HAVE to be in the book to be true on the show.
She destroyed Stannis and the Baratheons. Now, maybe she'll serve the LORD (dude) of Light, like a good little girl, else they'll burn her little French arse as joyfully as she has burned others.
