3 years, just watched it on Netflix. Childish compared to BSG. But I thought they'd at least try to tie it in.......willy was a sad excuse for tie

I think it's possible. The meat and potatoes everyone wanted was starting to kick into gear. Most went in, expecting a BSG type show, but it stated from the beginning, it was going to be more of a backdrop and story leading up to it. The writers, said it was going to be more about how the Adama and Graystone families played pivotal roles in bringing about the Cylon wars eventually. I wished they had been given at least one more season, if not 2, to incorporate everything. They had to rush the last 5 episodes after a sudden cancellation.

I think a couple more seasons would have been able to figure it out. I had high hopes for BSG:Blood and Chrome too, but NBC and Syfy has been able to screw that over too it seems. I think the 5 will or should be better suited towards the end of Blood and Chrome, as it's about the 1st Cylon Wars, and the end of that, would or should probably introduce them or allude to them.
