I remember hearing about the Woodsman, but I will never watch it. I cannot watch a movie that sympathizes with a pedophile. I know that is just an assumption on what the movie does, however with Hollywood's track record of backing pieces of shite, a la Roman Polanski, it wouldn't surprise me. I've never heard of the other two.

It't not quite like that. The movie shows his problem as a sickness, almost not in his control. He struggles the whole movie to keep those thoughts at bay. You don't sympathize with him. As a viewer, you're just hoping he doesn't fall into that hole again. It's sort of suspenseful.

I think I saw Suicide Kings a long time ago. Looks like a cast. I don't remember it, will have to find it and watch it.

Jack Reacher was one of those movies for me. Can't remember if it was on a showtime channel or Netflix but hadn't heard of it before then. Decided to watch it and turned out to be pretty good.

Yeah, this is a good way to describe it.

The movie neither condemns nor sympathizes with the main character.

But the movie is fricking stressful.
You're so worried he's gonna do something horrible.

Denis Leary's character in Suicide Kings is awesome. The toaster scene is one of my favorite movie scenes.

I'll add this one - my favorite horror film

And here's another one I love that many are unaware of

Take Shelter is a really really good movie...way better take paranoia than the latest Cloverfield.

Yeah, Tom Cruise does a lot of under the radar stuff that doesn't get any publicity. What's it about?
