Godzilla: King of the Monsters is not a good movie. In fact, it's a pretty terrible one. Don't shoot the messenger, Kaiju fans.

Lost some of its pop and luster as the film went on...I wish it had worked better for me.

Of course the monsters should be the stars of a Godzilla movie. But until blockbuster filmmaking goes entirely non-narrative, some attention should be paid to the rest of it as well.

This is a Godzilla movie, and what we're really here for is to see him kick some serious monster butt. And King of the Monsters pays off in that regard time and again...

It's eye candy with a decent cast.

Not even a Climate Change narrative could get Hollywood critics on board.

I'll still see it. I wonder how different the audience score will be?

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is now the worst American Godzilla movie. Say what you will about Roland Emmerich's, but at least he showed Godzilla a lot.

Well one of these guys is full of shite. Don't understand how two people could watch the same movie and see completely opposite things.

I suspect the GA will enjoy it. It might be too much fighting and destruction for critics.

The net effect is more numbing than stirring, with only a few monster-on-monster tussles that come close to being worth the price of admission.

The entire film has the feel of Hanna-Barbera animation.

How come none of the Monsters ever take a dump?

Godzilla's alone has to be a legit biohazard.

Its these kind of things need to be addressed and examined before any believability can be achieved and I can consent with my positive feedback.

I need to see shite.

See, this is what pissed me off about the first movie. It seems like they did it again.

From, the reviews I read, it sounds like it’s a mess of a movie.
