You hate Pedro. This board understands. Disney treated Pedro differently than Gina. This board understands.
Point me to where people are pissed that Gina got a settlement for her mistreatment. Most are happy she got what she deserved for being wrongfully terminated.
You keep responding to the Pedro is crying that Gina got a settlement with completely different arguments. Disney was wrong and paid. Gina says she and Pedro are friends transcending politics.
You need lessons in logical argument flow.

Possibly the best post in this thread.

Go on record - do you agree with Disney or Gina?

Gina obviously. Who cares about others political beliefs besides losers?
Same reason I think people hating on Pascal are losers

I don't hate on him. However, it is obvious he gets so many choice opportunities because the suits in Hollywood generally agree with his politics.
His range just isn't good enough to get all these plum castings, particularly now at his age, if that isn't under consideration.
Maybe Chris Pratt turns down a lot of offers and Pascal just doesn't (we've seen it with some aging legends like Walken, Deniro, etc., it does happen). But, I suspect the reason why one is being pushed and the other is seemingly less visible despite his clear ability to deliver a box office is politics.
I doubt you'll agree, but I want to make sure you understand where I'm coming from. I thought Pascal was great in GoT and Prospect, one of the better things in WW84. He seems born for the role in Mandolorian. He was okay in TLOU (and, I know, he won every possible award for it). He is completely miscast in FF.
They will put him in anything he agrees to, and he agrees to pretty much anything at this point.

You really think Pascal is being pushed over Pratt? I feel like they both stay busy af.
Pratt is the lead in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchises and still had time to be the lead in the Mario Movie, his own Netflix movie, an Amazon Prime series, Pascal isn't the lead of any major movie franchise right now.

Of course, they're reeling that back some and things are dynamic over there, with the "ho hum" performance of FF at the box office, but still inexplicable they would go forward with a 50-year old leading man at a potential franchise's first film, going into a new phase.
Be comparison, RDJ was 43 when Iron Man was released.
We can leave it at that. You don't see it because you don't want to. Or, I see it because I want to. Obviously, we both can't be right.

Even if they were shooting to start a F4 franchise that still doesn't equal inheriting one like Jurassic World and being in a marvel one on top like Guardians of the Galaxy. At best they are being pushed equally.
Pascal is still being pushed a ton. I feel like the other Game of Thrones dudes had their chances too but blew it, especially Jon Snow and slightly less so Robb Stark (he's a better actor than Kit tbf).

I don't disagree with any of this.

How ironic.

There are MANY across the internet, including me, who hoped Disney would have had to offered more of an apology, at the very least. The idea Disney would have to endure full discovery, and show KK's e-mails, or have her testify, was never going to happen.
Thus, we got the settlement.
But even so, while Gina & her lawyers are 'satisfied', may fans believe this gives Disney an out, and is more likely to pull this stunt again. Only next time Elon's lawyers may not be there to help out the next actor.
We'll see.
