The same team of writers that do the TV show should assist with the remaining books. This would by design help in meshing the 2 products.

My bad dude. Really bush league move on my part and literally the first time I've posted a spoiler. I'm always in the big spoiler thread and forgot for a moment that there are a lot of people who haven't read the books and/or finished them. I will rescind my King Beyond the Wall title and change to Castle Black stuck with a bunch of sexually frustrated dudes in penance.

Hrrmm... Not necessarily a bad idea, though I wonder if it will actually slow the process by injecting a lot of indecision.
