George Lucas Is A Story Teller and Disney is a Corporation

After watching TLJ, it is so far from a Lucas direct film it isn't even close. Lucas told Stars the way he wanted it..sure, he helps with ideas, but the story was his.
Disney doesn't care about the story...just dollar signs and that is their right as it's their coloring book and crayons.
It's been said that these movies are now done by committee and that is true. Toy sales, the right mix of male, female, race of people have to fit into the corporate formula.
I didn't hate TLJ like most...But I didn't love it nor will I run back to watch it again. I think this is how the Disney Star Wars Films will be from here out...I don't expect high consensus of approval in future movies unless the approach the Lucas-Methodology....
I recommend Disney give George a call from time to time for pointers.

I'm actually curious to see how younger generations attach to it. There's no way I'd introduce my kids to the newest Star Wars films because they don't give you anything the original Star Wars films didn't.

Well they know Star Wars will sell no matter what. It’s a brand that’s been whored out and commercialized for 40 years now. It’s got nothing to do with the story, it’s all about the $$$$.

Did you every see Howard the Duck? Only someone who loves to tell stories and not worry about the bottom line can make a film like that

There is something more ominous to Disney that its corporate greed
Look at what they've done to ESPN too
They don't mind losing millions in dollars and customers, for the purpose of messaging. Its actually scary to think to a degree
