Great actor.
The first thing I remember him in was In the Line of Fire (agent in charge of the president's detail).
In addition to the stuff already mention, he has a great guest appearance on a Psych episode.

Lots of great Gary Cole roles named in this thread, but his role in Dodgeball is my favorite of his comedic work.
He's also excellent as the tragic protagonist in a small David Duchovny/Demi Moore flick called The Joneses

I first remember him from an NBC series called "Midnight Caller". He played a late night radio talk show host. I still remember his sign-off line: "Goodnight America...wherever you are."
