They could do a full out movie each week and I wouldn't get my fill.

So glad they brought the Direwolf up to proper size.

Stannis, Davos, and Melisandre were spot on.
Extremely pleased with their casting.
Also glad they made the direwolf to actual size. Bran & Summer will be fun to watch. Where was Ghost?

god i hate Joffrey so fricking much. Great to see Cersei slap him. I thought she looked a lot better tonight than she did at any point last season.

well, I see the direwolves have finally grown up!
I have a couple of questions. The place we see Stannis at is Dragonstone, right? And that is where the Targaryn's lived or did they also live in Kings Landing? Wasn't the throne room of Kings landing decorated with the skulls of dragons and King Robert moved them downstairs to the crypts or whatever?
The red haired witchy lady, how come she didn't die when she sipped the poisioned drink? And why the hell did the old man drink first if he knew it was poisoned?

My initial thoughts on the episode:
Sill cant get over Shae's accent
Looks like we see where all the money went this season, the battle scene to come, and nice touch on the Wolves CGI. Appropriate size
Damn, they made Margery look freaking hot. Can't wait to see the scene where her and Renley are seen naked in tonight's preview.
The rumor of only Arya in the opening episode looks false. But I hope she is included in this season.

- Renly Baratheon has left King's Landing and is rallying the troops to his cause after trying to talk Ned Stark in promoting him as the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne.
That is stated in the series?
Interesting...
In the book he just wants Stark to assume control by essentially taking the king and siblings hostage in his role as Regent/Lord Protector
Offers troops to achieve this.
It's only when Ned tries to be all honorable that he flies the city and he lives out the plan he had started to build for Robert.

King's Landing is home to the court and the throne. Dragonstone was the Targaryen's home just as Casterly Rock and Winterfell belong to the Lannisters and Starks.

Her faith.
Did you see the stone glowing red in her necklace?

Mutual destruction. That was the Maester of Dragonstone, and he wanted her preaching of the Lord of Light put to an end.

Joffery is a lil' skidmark still, but I loved that scene with him and Ceresei. Makes me realize why I hate her mroe than him.
She's the reason he is the way he is. I wished he would've punished her some. But that might have to wait or something.
