Oh for sure. But did it look like Jon already left the wall? I thought he walked out the front door (Southern end) after chunking deuces...

He's still got to pack his bags and bring Ghost along. I think he'll be there in time for Ramsay to send him the Pink Letter.

No way Jon just walks off without horse, pack, wolf, wildlings, etc.

That would be funny if as soon as he leaves, Sansa shows up at Castle Black and they don't actually reunite yet.

Umber's complaint may not be all that hard to believe if they feel the way Thorne did.
Surely Jon sent ravens, especially to Last Hearth notifying them that Wlngs were given permission to settle The Gift...
Regardless, SmallJon could be pissed enough to hold House Stark responsible for that decision...
(facepalm)
I can totally see D&D playing this out to production staff:
"The Umber angle to revolt is easily supported: generations of prejudice are hard to overcome IRL,
So why not?"
FML.

Sansa better watch out. Jon loves him some red heads, and she's the only one left of the show that's not 1000 years old, and he is half targ

Sansa's technically his cousin though, and that's fine and dandy by Westerosi standards.

She's going to make him look like a midget without some box for kit to stand on tho
ETA Apparently Sophie turner is only 5'9. She seems much taller in the show

not if Tormund tells her about his short sword

Given what she went through with Ramsey, a short non threatening sword might be a nice change of pace

The production staff has made a huge deal over this season, in that they got to film/choreograph a huge battle with two proper armies going at it.
Via the link I think you can see the flayed man on the shields; would the wildlings or Watch constitute the other army, "hundreds of human soldiers on one side of a field, another army on the other side, and then there is a clash that is highly tactical, yet character-driven, and shown from start to finish – a “proper battle,” as Cogman put it?" Or would that be from the Vale?
I think the timing is probably wrong to get any armies from the south up to Winterfell this season...

Apparently Sophie Turner sent Kit Harrington a letter after she thought he was killed off, saying how much she would miss him and how much she enjoyed working with him.
How many scenes did they have together? Did they even talk to each other on the show? Hell, were they even filming scenes in the same country most of the series?

No doubt that the other army is Jon and the wildlings. battle of the bastards. I expect it to be an episode long battle
Only question is whether LF shows up before, after, or during. Well get more of a clue of that this week, as LF is in the previews for the episode

During the first season they were in the same country, and they were all hired as kids and grew up into their roles, probably spending a lot of time together on promotional tours and events, like the comic cons and what not, and I'm sure they've hung out in the off season a good bit. Her and Arya seem super super close and they probably haven't been in the same place filming for a couple seasons

I'm pretty sure Littlefinger is going to be the hero, and I'm not thrilled about that.

Fair point. I honesty wasn't sure.

the other army does appear rag-tag with non-military weapons like an ax clearly visible. I didn't think Jon would have time to whip them into military shape tactically, but as we've seen the writers aren't too worried with specifics...
