Will Jon Snow need his own Hodor now that he is resurrected? Kinda like Wesley is The Princess Bride when he came back to life. He needed Fezzik to carry him around until he got his strength back.

You keep saying this. Read the books. She serves a purpose in the books.

Not really. Maybe she will, but she hasn't yet, and there's a good chance that anything she does could have been replaced by someone else.
In fact, I think I remember George RR Martin saying he included her to show that death changes a person, which I really don't think merits her inclusion.

Considering she's one of 2 main POV characters to die, who better to show that death changes a person?

True but we've yet to see how it changes him. GRRM has said he doesn't add characters for hoots and giggles. One has to think a character as polarizing as LSH will have a role in the series. We just may not know it yet.

So that in fact served a purpose

Served by one other person so far, with that to be two after tonight.

Can't win.
Because of that damn spoiler thread. Which I haven't read. If I make a guess about who Oathbreaker is, and get it right. Then you guys will just say I read the spoiler thread. If I get it wrong, then you guys will excoriate me. No way out, no way out.

This is what I'm saying. I've been seeing for years "please no LSH, LSH is awful, etc.", yet she hasn't served a huge role in the books. It's been years since I read the books, but wasn't her last appearance her hanging Brienne and Pod or something of that sort? I don't think GRRM would insert a character just for the hell of it if she doesn't serve a purpose. So it's weird seeing people write her off so quickly when her story arc hasn't even been told all the way yet with two books left.
ETA: and what's a better day to introduce her than Mothers Day

If the gift is Rickon I am thinking it may be a Trojan horse type situation. Pledging loyalty to Ramsey to get inside and turn on him. Also Ramsey may think by keeping him alive he will have leverage to bring Snow to him.
They might be bringing Rickon there so they can install him as Lord Stark.
Love to see me some pies this season.

There was an alter named "Hodor!" last year.

LSH had a significant story arc in the book. She gave Brienne the choice between killing Jaime or hanging and she ultimately chose the "sword" . Last we saw of her, she met back up with Jaime and told him "if you want to save Arya, we have to leave now". Which he presumably did. If LSH gets Jaime...
