Sorry, thought you said titties. I was going to disagree, Mel was looking nice!

Yeah, she was. Though Mel does have some pretty uniquely shaped boobs. But the look works for her though.

Aside from the Eyrie scenes, I thought this would be a setup episode, but I think this is the best one of the season. I didn't even mind Daario. Hell, we know that it's going to happen, just get it over with.
As for the Eyrie, I thought it was perfect. "Only Cat" would have been nice, but not a big deal. All of the Tyrion scenes from the opening with Jaime to the last one with Oberyn were great! They kept Lollys and pretty much nailed the conversation with Bronn, then kept Oberyn's story about seeing Tyrion as a baby. I didn't picture Tyrion crying in the book, but it really worked in the show.
And adding in Rorge and Biter, the Hound getting bitten by Biter, even them giving mercy to the old wounded guy, really well done.
I thought they did a great job of keeping the good from the books and a better job of making changes that worked well. Solid episode!

As a straight female objective third party, I'd say:

What was your reaction when Daario's butt graced the screen?
Posted on 5/18/14 at 10:56 pm to ladytiger118
Roz did have some nice tatas. Joff deserved to die a cruel death for messing those up.
Not trying to steer back to the hardlegging, but straight females commenting on nice tittays is a beautiful thing!

I've seen so many on this show that it's hard not to rank them
.
And of course Dany's are the most overrated.

I take the same view as Butters, too many floppy wieners. Butt view is always preferable to male frontal nudity.

I would agree with that as well. Roz had some fantastic breasts. Mel is just smoking all around.

I would've given that episode a 10 out of 10 if it weren't for the absolutely pointless Dany-Daario scene and then the Jorah friendzone scene.
Posted on 5/18/14 at 11:12 pm to ladytiger118
It wasnt pointless. Daario has to plow dany. No way around it.

So you choose dessert over sex?

And at least they didn't have her kissing his blades as he went off to Yunkai.

Ok, I broke my own rule and peeked at the Hodor thread. Took all of one page to remember why I don't do that.
The readers trying to look like smart Hodors are pretty obvious. I'm definitely staying away from there.
And this one is definitely a 10 out of 10. In fact, I kind of like the way they did the Daario / Dany thing in the show better than what we had to put up with in the books. He isn't some weird dude with a blue three pronged beard and, most importantly, we don't have to hear Dany's thoughts on the matter.

Yeah, dany is just a horny girl, nothing more, wants the alpha cock, like 90% of womenz on this planet

yep, as it is written, so shall it be done
Hopefully they spice up the Mereen shite. Just get us to the fighting pits/little Dorne getting fireballed/etc ASAP.
That being said, what a great episode. Hound and Arya, Tyrion and Bronn, Tyrion and Viper, even the Hot Pie scene had some awkward humor. Then of course the Moon Door.
The Hodors actually seemed to be able to follow this episode pretty well also(and everyone is turning on Dany
)

Yeah, I like the Hot Pie scene, much better than Nimble Dick. With that, I think we're done with Brienne and Pod this season. They saw a fork in the road, chose one...it's a nice symbolic way to close that POV. Next season that storyline could provide one of the big cliffhangers if it ends with "one word".

At this point in both the books and show, Dany's story line takes a back seat compared to everything that is happening in Westeros. Her scenes in S4 are getting to the point to where I'll fast forward through most of them on rewatches. The showrunners have managed to make some of them a lot more tolerable than they were in the books...but there's no comparison that every other scene was amazing in this episode compared to that yawnfest that comprises Meereen. The Jaime-Tyrion, Bronn-Tyrion, and Oberyn-Tyrion scenes are some of the best I've seen in terms of acting in this show. I was pleasantly surprised that they brought in the Lollys story line to the show and mentioned Falyse--guess we'll see crazy Feast-Dance Cersei give Falyse to Qyburn next season
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I love how the show is portraying Cersei's gradual downward spiral and how she DGAF/is a psychopath. She just stood there looking pleased when she watches Gregor hack and kill the prisoners and walks up to him with a smile on her face...very good acting in that scene.

Hodors, Davos's, and Maesters alike can unite in the fact that everything else going on in the story is so much better than what is happening in Slaver's Bay. When I finished the books I felt that Dany's story line became incredibly disconnected to what is occurring in Westeros as the books went on.

Why do they always take a break? It's not like Sunday is actually Memorial Day.
