Yeah, that's definitely not in the books, but I do see why they made the choice to go in that directions because of things that happen further down the road.

Was discussing the show with some friends and somebody said "Man something must be wrong with the king dude if he can't get it up with that queen right there". I just thought really, you think? He's fricking gay dumbass.
This episode this season was not nearly as bad as the sound effects during the scene in the first season.
Bottom line, just turn away if it makes you that uncomfortable. It's HBO, they do this shite to push the envelope in their shows for chrissakes.

They also left out all the parts about the patriarch of the Tyrell family wanting to keep his family significant. It was mostly dialogue from other POV characters, but I think they way they are doing it (condensing) will make for a better show.

Nobody said that gays are trying to make everyone else gay. What was stated was that the gay agenda is to normalize homosexuality in society at large.

Nothing wrong with this IMO. The more people see gays as normal, harmless people with the same wants and needs, the better. Society needs to be beaten over the head with this since it hasn't evolved as much as it should have by now.
First time I saw 2 guys kiss IRL, I was shocked/ taken aback. Now, it doesn't phase me.
Back to the point of the thread, clearly it was relevant to the plot. The king needs to make a baby to establish himself. Problem is, the sight of a naked woman repulses him. (and if you want to see an agenda, it also shows homosexuality is not a choice)

Which I can agree with. Because sex sells. My point is that it's not an exclusive homosexual agenda. They've shown they will get away from the books to show sexual interactions with multiple characters, not just homosexual ones (which is what is implied with the notion that it's a liberal "making homosexual normal" agenda").

You're a perfect example of what I'm talking about. They've gotten you to accept homosexual behavior as normal even to the point where you think it's an advancement for society.
