Oh, nevermind. That would be a spoiler.
I can't wait to see how they pull that off. Looking at previews, it seems that some events from ASOS will take place this season as well.
I'm almost through ASOS and Dany really might be the best character in the series.

The 4th book (A Feast for Crows) is super slow with almost no major characters. However, it offers a viewpoint of events from characters who aren't affiliated with main characters. That makes it interesting.

Sure, but I still consider her a contender, though most people in Westeros aren't aware of her existence at this point... Yet, her story is still one of the most fascinating, even in this season. All I have to say is House of the... Oh, nevermind. That would be a spoiler.
its not cool to even hint crap like that. People aren't asking for what you are hinting so stay away from doing that.

I've read the books but how do you like someone whos read the book to something and is hinting stuff like oh just remember so and so. Pay attention to this part. This character is so cool in the 4th book. It's not needed and you're just being a douche because you can't control yourself.

Good because I don't believe I have ever used the phrase "gay agenda" in my entire life.

Getting all worked up over a TV network showing something that is blatantly alluded to in the source material is "rational?"
I assure you I am far from "worked up" over this.

Are we just going to talk about spoilers in this thread? Or can we please get back on the topic of HBO shoving evil deviant gayness down our throats, like Renly's cock does to Loras?

It is hinted at that he is gay, but it isn't thrown in your face like HBO is doing.
Agree with this. Not sure if it's an agenda rather than just sensationalizing the TV product.

Alright, people. Name off the spoilers in this thread. Go at it...

If you look at it in a logical non-homophobic way it's clear that they're just taking advantage of the HBO platform to show everything. They've shown several hetero and girl-on-girl sex scenes that aren't explicitly shown or described in the books. Or the baby killing scene that alot of people found shocking, again that was found out second hand you didn't actually see it.

This sounds plausible to me. As I stated earlier I have no problem with it if it is germain to the story. I do not like to watch shows that are centered around that subject, such as 6 Feet Under, as it does not appeal to me. To each his own.

Both made by Alan Ball and homosexuality is also not thrown into those those for the hell of it. Lafayette and David Fisher are respectively imo the best characters on those shows and being gay is a pretty prominent part of who they are.
IDK about that Lafayette died in the FIRST book.

You also have Mance Rayder with a wildling army where nothing much is known about Mance Rayder or his ambitions yet. Then there is dany with ambitions of taking back westeros so pretty much 7 forces right now.
How are you going to call someone out for spoilers and then post a spoiler?
Mance Rayder has been spoken of but not introduced yet. The "War of the Five Kings" is about the characters I mentioned.
Right NOW in the show we have five forces. D any is near death and Mance is just spoken of in passing.

Didn't read the books and only basing it off what I have seen of the TV show, which, by the way, I don't like (don't like is a nice way of saying actively loathe). That said, Lafayette is one of the few characters on the show I don't actively dislike hence one of the best characters on the show.

rehash of an earlier posted spoiler
Loras and Jamie still alive in the fourth book is a very big one IMO.

I had a feeling this thread would become another rampant bitchfest.
homophobia and spoilerphobia running wild
