From the vault-- 1975 SNL short: "Fall Preview"

Written by Albert Brooks, this piece aired on the very first season of Saturday Night Live and later shown again in 1979. It's a spoof of three new shows coming on in the fall:
Medical Season - a hospital-set drama with doctors, nurses and patients. Great lines like, "I'm a registered nurse, not a registered prostitute".
The Three of Us -- a sitcom about a man, his wife and her best friend who is living with them. The whole schtick, of course, is the man (Brooks) always trying to get them to do a three-way... incidentally, this pre-dated Three's Company by several years.
Black Vet - a drama about a black Vietnam Vet who starts a veterinarian practice in a small southern town. Great lines like, "I'm NOT the KIND of VET that believes in drowning CATS, except the kind that go after my WIFE."
Just classic off-the-wall '70s humor.
