Fine, I'll stop...

Hu Flung Pu, it's a great show, I hope you keep enjoying it as much as us "fringies" did every week.

For anyone asking about the final episode, it's one of the best send offs of any show I've ever seen, and the end of the show was written before even the first episode, so there is no continuality issues like you have in other Bad Robot productions.

jj learned from lost. he wasn't gonna make the same mistake twice. there are hints all over the place starting in season 1 that the ending was planned from the start

Yeah, Abrams wrote the end of Fringe before they even started on the production of the show:

"A final step taken was to script out all of the major long-running plot elements, including the show's finale, prior to full-time production. Abrams contrasted this to the process used in Lost, where ideas like character flashbacks and the hatch from the second season were introduced haphazardly and made difficulties in defining when they should be presented to the viewers. Instead, with Fringe, they were able to create "clearly defined goalposts" (in Itzkoff's words) that could be altered as necessary with network and seasonal changes but always provided a clear target for the overarching plot."

- Itzkoff, David (2008-08-24). "Complexity Without Commitment". New York Times. Retrieved 2011-03-27.

I wouldn't put myself on their level. once I finish this semester though I will get started on September's notebook and definitely up my fringe knowledge. I am a huge fan but because I watched it live and not all back to back I forgot a lot of things that happened in the fringeverse

JJ may have fleshed out an outline but I doubt he had the final show written.

They made changes to the story as they went along. Anyone remember the human bad guys after Peter in season 1 and how that plot completely disappeared with no explanation?

No. I couldn't watch 5 minutes of that movie without wanting to gouge my eyes out. That was right in the middle of the terrible Sandler voices phase.

are you talking about the people he was hiding from in the middle east..? I just always assumed they ignored that part of the show because it became so scifi'y after the reveal at the end of season 1..

Let me rephrase my old comment.. I don't think he had the final show completely written.. I do believe the show was always moving towards a final battle with the
