I am getting around to watching this series. Really like season 1 and 2, with the different take on the space programs beginnings. Russians being first, women sent to the moon, etc. Even the gay story lines in the background were there, and not a major distraction to the overall plot movement.

Season 3 is killing me with the weird shite from Gordo's son and not being able to get over a woman he slept with a decade ago. You are one of the first people to ever visit Mars and you are obsessing over the commander's wife who is 15-20 years older than you. It was a weird storyline in season 2 and they are just got dumbass with it in season 3.

The Russian vs. USA tension is great, but then they also have to drop in the young black guy is gay. This is taking place in the 90s, that is not how the 90s rolled. Once again you are part of the most amazing mission in human history and you want to make it about "me" to the world. People were not like that back in the 90s, Gen X was different. Apple felt like they were not getting enough gay traction with the lesbian republican president . We need more gay, damnit!!! It really killed the story where I am now, the tension between countries was all that was needed.

3 more episodes in this season, then to 4. Hopefully it gets back on track.

They resolve your complaints with a montage at the start of season 4.

I hope so, because right now I want to see Stevens airlocked after ignoring the drill overheating and killing people.

I am struggling with this plot item, where he is so in love with a 50 year old woman, he will let be die. Let alone his little brother and whatever dumb arse crap he is about to do.

They send off Season 2 with Gordo and Tracy closing their arc and going out in love and heroes, to their kids just becoming little turds

Dumb arse writing

Both of their kids were always kind of turds. They became bigger turds as the series went on. Also the time and culture shifted so you can't equate real life Gen X to the show.

I binged the first two seasons in about a week. It took me a few months to get through 3 and 4 and I only finished just to finish it. I did get a good laugh when Al Gore took credit for discovering something or other in season 4.

With the risk of getting more DVs

Season 3 has gone full retard to end it.

After episode 9 and there massive gay people are awesome, because that is so relevant , apparently the Norks managed to land a person on Mars without anyone else knowing.

Yes the poorest planet on Earth managed to get people to Mars, along with that apparently there is unlimited Oxygen for the North Korean ship.

This is why AI needs to take over for Hollywood, they lost their creative way
