FlashForward 12/3/2009 - A561984

Interesting eppisode tonight, and we have to wait until March to see another one?
Potential spoilers/speculation below
I think a lot of what happened in the episode had been speculated on here on the board in the past.
Noh will be killed by Benford. I think this has been discussed here before. Now the question is why? I am still leaning toward him (Noh) being the mole in the FBI office.
Zoey finally determines that what she was seeing in her flashforward was Noh's funeral/memorial service and not their wedding. Again I think this had been determined on here a few weeks ago.
The device in Somalia was invented by Campos, but he has never built one. Also, the photo was taken a year before he devised the idea. Someone on the board recently speculated that time travel was going to be involved - is this a result of time travel, someone goes back in time and builds one of this plasma things before it was invented?
In the previews for what happens when the show returns, Benford makes a comment about another blackout happening. Again that was speculated on this board I believe.
Finally, the two guys who kidnap Simcoe, are they part of the blue star tattoo gang?

I don't know about you guys, but missing Fringe and Flash Forward over Thanksgiving was bad enough, but waiting till fricking March to see more of Flash Forward is just deflating this shite for me.
Also, Benford's wife is acting like a tard. Just tell that fricking guy to get out of your office and don't talk to him already.

I think Noh is the mole, which sucks, I like that dude.
That kind of depressed me, that Zoey was at the funeral instead of the wedding.
The device thing kind of confused me. It may have to do with time travel, but I'm not entirely sure. It'd be more interesting if it was, in fact, invented by someone else, a "recloose".
I think if there is another blackout, it will happen on March 29th, which would tie in the fact that everyone flashforwarded to the same day.
I have no idea about the Simcoe thing, but given the fact that he was going to be with Benford's wife, I was a little happy he got taken

No mention of the lady hiding D. Gibbons at the end?

What I'm taking from Noh's murder is that he was killed with Benford's gun and not necessarily by Benford. Hell he gave it to him last night. They might be jumping to conclusions from what that lady saw.
I think somebody just beat Campos to the design. Now he is really intrigued about helping the FBI because he wants to find out who the hell this guy is.
I think Simcoe might be playing Olivia. I think that kidnapping was a setup as a way for her to take his son in. I don't think this guy is as innocent as he seems.
Oh and she is a dumbass. After everything she saw, then this guy admits to causing the blackout, then tells her about how they could've "met" had she gone to Harvard, then she starts flirting with him? What a dumb bitch.

Agreed. I was about to post this theory. She just said it was the same serial number.

I liked the episode overall. I agree with everyone that the shite Benford's wife is doing is incredibly stupid. Only thing I can see is that she just doesn't love him (which is totally understandable) and wants this love affair to happen.
Now, on to Noh's death. I agree with you guys it obviously doesn't necessarily mean Benford shoots him.
Now the proton thing-a-ma-jig being built before Campos design is pretty interesting as well as the persian lady hiding D. Gibbons. I don't exactly know what to make of all that. But I will say this, that black CIA agent certainly seemed to know who she was (or her importance) and might make it a strong possibility that a government is behind the blackout, since she seems to be very well protected. I'll be watching in March to find out I guess.

I'm thinking why not just dump the gun in the middle of the ocean/destroy it/do something to make sure it can never fire. Sounds like a more sure fire way of "changing the future". Beats the hell out of jumping off the top the FBI building.

But you could be right. Considering that in the previews for March it shows Benford with Noh against the wall telling him "I should have killed you when I had the chance".

I think a lot of us here have pegged Dimitri as the mole since the first episode when Dimitri was not next to Benford when they woke up from the blackout.
If Persian lady saw Benford's gun's serial # as the one that killed Dimitri, why not just toss it and get a new one?

Just watched it off my DVD. Did it bother anyone else when in the preview someone said something like "It's not free will vs. fate. It is free will and fate"? I just want to smack the writers in the face for that.

There is a lot of reasons i'd like to slap the writers... however the acting is worse than the writing. That's pretty bad.
"I WAS LOADED!"

One of my favorite examples of bad acting was Benford's "I didn't bring him into our lives, YOOOU DIIIIID!"
But I just watched this past episode. Looks like ****'s gonna get intense when the show picks up again. I'm pretty excited.
