Could be fun? The teaser doesn't give a LOT to go on (hence a "teaser") but I think I'd at least give it a shot.
Definitely got a bit of a GotG vibe, with the "dirtier end of space" feel.

It's adapting a recent comic run named Woman of Tomorrow. She's apparently a very jaded character now.

I don't hate the trailer. As with anything, if they make a decent attempt to have a character arc it could be good.
Kinda like Hancock maybe? The more I compare that move to the last 5 years of superhero bullshite the more I appreciate what they were trying to do even if it does have gigantic plotholes.

FWIW I don't mean any harm with this response but... when there have been a nearly infinite number of stories with Supergirl and they choose the one where she's lower character?

That's a terrible character choice for the general Superman and Supergirl audience.
We have other mixed morality female characters such as the ones I named before. I think there's a big audience for the traditional Supergirl. I don't think there is for Supergirl acting like Mystique, Emma Frost, Black Cat, Black Widow, or Harley Quinn
