Was Firefly the first victim of the Summer Glau curse, or was there another show killed before that?

Serenity is a great sci-fi movie. It is now showing on the "retro" movie schedule at the Movie Tavern theatres. And in case you wondered, Summer Glau has appeared in several Hallmark Christmas movies. I know because my wife had me watch them with her. LOL They still make them btw, so no death by Glau there.
On another note, I "sort of" understand why they don't want to bring the series back, but you would think they at least could make a few more movies or some of those short 4 part mini-series. I have watched all 14 episodes 3 times and get sick everytime I think of them not having made more when the public is clamoring for it. Seems like a no brainer to me. Anyway......

I wish she'd have killed Arrow before it got Felicity'd

Make sure you watch it on the correct order. Netflix copies FOX's release schedule and they messed up the order of the last few episodes. At least it used to be this way.

Coral, of course.

Firefy is my all time favorite TV show. Everyone associated with canceling it after 1 season should needs a throat punch.

Really looking forward to the rest of this series.
Spoiler alert: You'll be disappointed if you haven't already figured out it got cancelled after one season.
But, at least they made Serenity. Still, there were so many more stories to tell. You could make a pretty successful network just out of shows Fox prematurely cancelled.

So far, Freaks and Geeks holds that title for me.
Was going to say that, definitely. But, F&Gs didn't get a movie after the fact, to help tie things together. As others have mentioned in here, the movie "Serenity" is quite nice.
