I watched it over the weekend, thanks to the fine folks of this board making me aware it was on Netflix. I enjoyed it. I thought it was funny that the guy interacting with the AI was the clone from that one episode of Black Mirror. The movie kind of struck me as a longer take on some of the themes from Black Mirror. I'm hesitant to say it was merely a movie length episode, because that would feel like I'm selling the movie short.

If black mirror had made a feature film, it would have been that.

In my top 5 all time. Love that movie.

Whiplash might be in there too and they came out the same year

I really like this movie. I thought it was well done. Writing, acting, directing and visuals were pretty much on point. I did have a problem with the ending..SPOILERS

I thought it should have ended when Ava walked out of the house after locking Caleb in the room. Instead of showing her walking to the helicopter and then she's suddenly out in public sightseeing, it should have been left to the viewers imagination.
