I have a feeling most of the offerings will be Sci-Fi or Horror based.

One of my favs is the death of Henry Blake announced by Radar on MASH:

Not really an operating room, but the cardiac arrest scene in The Thing sprang to mind.

I guess I’ll deviate here, it’s not my favorite cause it’s tough to watch but it’s the first thing that jumped into my mind. It can classify as a makeshift “operating room”.

When Eversmann has to reach up into the guys leg and tries to clamp the artery in Black Hawk Down.

Because it’s my favorite show

ER

Last season or so.. Dr Benton shadowing a surgery with his protege and whom he groomed and tortured basically , Dr Carter’s kidney transplant surgery... making the operating doctor go
Through the proper protocol and take no shortcuts , which turned out to save Carter’s Life.

There's a very tense OR scene in "A Stitch In Crime", the Columbo episode where Leonard Nimoy tries to kill a fellow surgeon

Nimoy was probably the coldest, most hissable Columbo villain of all

This is a classic English whodunit dealing w/murder in the OR. I wouldn't be surprised if it inspired the writer of Nimoy's Columbo episode. The producer-director team wrote Hitchock's The Lady Vanishes.

In a similar vein...

Sam's surgery from Ronin 1998 on YouTube

The dialogue (Sam's instructions) is wonderful.
