Killjoys was fun but it's way the softer side of Scifi.

If you're looking for The Expanse type stuff then it's going to be awhile as Ringworld is still far off and the live action Cowboy Bebop will fall somewhere between Killjoys and The Expanse.

I'm in the same boat. The Expanse was really the first space show I've watched since the original Star Trek when it was on the air. When I finished The Expanse, I tried to find more.

BSG RE won't let you down. The two episode mini-series ('04) was first rate.
The last season suffered from the writer's strike and went a little GOT to close out the series, but it wasn't remotely as painful to get the closure.
Adama was one of Edward James Olmos best roles.

Picard was pretty good. Loved Mandalorian. Loved Devs.

The first season of Continuum was entertaining. Plus Rachel Nichols is a babe.

Then the show goes off the rails rather quickly.

Forgot to mention.

The Orville is my favorite after The Expanse.

It’s TNG and the only real “Trek” airing right now.

No idea when we’ll get the next season though.

So I don't know where this falls in the genre category but if you want to watch something entertaining to hold you over try The 100. It's silly I'll admit but it will keep your attention.

These could also help kill time:
Battle Star Galactic
Lost in Space
The Colony
