Fauda Season 5 on Netflix is the best yet. Episodes 7 and 8 will wreck you

If you haven’t watched Fauda Season 5 on Netflix yet, start it. This is the best damn season of the series.
Brilliantly written. Relentless. And episodes 7 and 8 are two of the most powerful hours of television I’ve seen in a long time. They don’t feel like a show. They feel like getting dropped into October 7.
Who would have thought an Israeli series would be the #1 most-watched show in Lebanon and climb the charts across the Middle East?I didn’t even know it was on Netflix until I scrolled across it on X this morning. Binged the whole season in one sitting. Now I can’t wait for Season 6.
Who else has seen it? Rate it 1–10. Am I overselling it?

Solid series (although the finale of season 4 was really bad).
Thru 4 episodes of S5, the stakes definitely seem to be raised this season.
Have always enjoyed it, entirely different world over there.
Fauda fans should check out the movie Mosul (Netflix).

important disclaimer - the show is pretty much israeli/idf propaganda. its funded by an israeli telecommunication corp and some people involved in its production fought in the gaza war... i think people on this board have a right to know that, so there you go.

I don't know, I stopped watching about midseason 3 , I started pulling for the "bad guys". They really screwed over the boxer kid and his family. They get the one mole killed when they end up in Gaza, the "good guys" go about killing and kidnapping themselves. Couldn't get past season 3 episode 9.
