Is this throughout last season's races?

Yes. This new season will cover the races in the 2019 season.

I found this over the weekend and couldn't stop watching. I can't imagine being in the seat of an F1 ride.

Can't wait to see the Mercedes episode, this show got me into following F1 last year.

Can’t wait to watch Vettel and Clerk wreck each other and the shite storm to follow in an episode. Because of the 1st season, I have been following F1 on YouTube and watching the races. I found myself pulling for the McLaren team. Love watching Lando and Sainz.

Same, I watched season 1 then proceeded to watch every single race this past season, pretty excited to watch this tonight.

I believe I read where the episode they chose for Mercedes just so happened to be Germany where it rained and they had a pretty rough day for Mercedes standards.

Looking forward to watching tonight. So many good moments this year, but Germany has to take the cake.

So tired of Mercedes/HAM winning every fricking week. Then I remember the glory days of watching Schumacher's Red Reign at Ferrari beginning in 2000, and now I know how every non-Scuderia fan felt.

I liked season 1 better. They jumped all over the place and it felt rushed. It felt like they left out so much.

I thought for sure Sebastian's melt at Montreal would make it.

I’ve seen four episodes so far. I do think season one was better. It told a better story, and perhaps because it focused on the best characters - be it Ricardo, Haas, or Christian Horner at Red Bull.

That press conference with Horner and Cyril?

The Mercedes episode wasn’t as good as I hoped for. They were all very cagey, and very PR conscious.

Unlike, let’s say. Haas

Me too. Never watched F1 until I saw this show last year. Then recorded and watched every practice, qualifying and race.

What I said: I’ll watch this slowly to build up to the season start in a few weeks.

What I did: watched it all in 2 days

*Spoilers maybe?*

I enjoyed it, wish they’d have went into some of the twitter shitposting the Rich Energy CEO was doing against HAAS, instead they just brushed it as an amicable parting of ways, that was a fun few weeks during the season when all that was going on.

Enjoyed Gasly’s of redemption with the podium as well.

Williams was a mess and it was interesting to see some of Russell’s frustrations, rightfully so.

Was hoping to get some behind the scenes on the LeClerc/Vettel contact in Brazil too but no go.

What? That was the biggest mishap of the season.

I’m 5 episodes in.

As much as I want someone other than Hamilton to win, that dude is hard not to root for. Just all class all the time.

I’ll go against the grain, he’s probably my least favorite on the grid. He’s no doubt one of the greatest in F1 but it’s his off-track shennigans that rub me wrong. Being vegan and pushing that hard to save animals and the environment, or that we should aggressively look after the environment/climate change all while jet setting around the globe and having made all of his money by driving a race car. Apparently he was considering kneeling for the national anthem when F1 was in Austin back in 2017 but Mercedes told him to reconsider and not involve himself. All of his interviews and responses just seem like canned replies.

Nah, it's not just you. I think he's an aggravating poseur too, and doesn't strike me as worthy of the company of the other legends of the sport.

Well, I don’t follow him outside of the race weekends, so I didn’t know any of that. And F1 does a fantastic job of not allowing bullshite to infiltrate their brand on race weekends.

But as far as how he treats his team and other racers, he’s all class. I know it’s easy to be that way when you have the best of everything and win all the time. Would be interesting to see how he would react to some adversity.

I know, they did an entire episode(8 or 9 maybe?) on them sort of being at each other and I feel like that contact was the part where it got really bad and it was hardly mentioned. I wonder if Ferrari put pressure on Netflix to not show how much of a shite show they were last season, that incident had to have been when it got to its worst, with Seb freaking out on the radio and blaming Charles while it was clearly Seb who caused it.
