Which begs the immediate question - Did The Snap wipe out half of the Eternals/Deviants, too?

If they’re alive, then yes. Thanos had complete control of the universe. He literally held in his hand the powers that created the universe. So I would believe that anything - Eternals, Deviants, Galactus, Ego - anything alive was subject to his control and will.

Does anyone have insight as to what the "threat" is to the Eternals and why they are intervening?

The villain I guess

Killing half of every living thing isn't pragmatism, it's fricking psychotic to the nth degree. WTF?

Watched the trailer. Knowing literally nothing about The Eternals, this was the first introduction to their story.

Why does the voice lady sound a lot like Gal Gadot? I know it's not, but that accent... what gives?

The benevolent super beings / aliens trope, coming to teach our hunter gatherer ancestors how to grow food, build stuff. Sure, what ever.

The Iron Man , Captain America line at the very end... that's high level cringe right there. Ugh.

Why didn't thanos just use the time stone like strange did to see the future and if his statement about the universe being finite come to fruition.

And his own future.

He seemed a lot smarter than that.

Cool to see Robb and Jon on screen together again, reminds me of the GOT good old days.

It's either Salma Hayek or Angelina Jolie with her "formal" accent.

If Jolie is playing Thena (Athena) it's probably an attempt at a Greek accent.

Am I dumb or does the little girl in this movie look retarded.

Sprite is her name I believe. She just looks weird to me for whatever reason.

Meh, nothing really exciting. Now if they had Spdier-Man show up and start kicking those Eternal asses and then team up, I'd be way more hype.

Dude was trying way too hard to make a reaction video, without an original reaction.

I’m guessing they helped kickstart civilization but never went out and ruled or bent the world to their will.

I've read an interesting fan theory that The Eternals could be a platform to introduce Prince Namor to the MCU.

I think this movie is going to make a fortune even if it's not good because people will be thrilled to go see a big budget MCU movie in theaters.

I hope it's a good flick

I thought the same thing when I heard that part.

You can't show them giving them water and fire and whatnot and then say you didn't interfere.

Not sure you know what that means.
