Because I'm being realistic? I mean honestly the dude has only made 2 decent films, Watchmen and 300. I hope it's a good film. I want it to be good. But I have 0 faith in him and I've been burned by the Snyder hype train before

There's nothing wrong with containing hype until you actually see it, IMO.

To use someone's history to predict what they do in the future is not ridiculous at all. People have evidence, it's perfectly acceptable to make assumptions based on that evidence.
Snyder isn't suddenly going to become Kubrick. In fact, I'd bet a significant chunk of cash on that idea.

You know what I wish? I wish people could hate on the film if they want to and not be attacked by those that love it. I also wish that people can love the film without being attacked by those that hate it. Wouldn't that be a wonderful world...
