Their beef is how he destroyed the Star Wars sequels. However, his other work is solid.

As I write this, I'm in the second part of this documentary and it frickin' sucks. It's boring as shite.

I don't think they mentioned it in the documentary, but he had a boat load of cocaine on him when he was busted at that theater.

He does seem like a fairly annoying person IRL though. I liked how they left in the clips of him annoying the filmmakers because he wouldn’t shut up

This reminded me of Chevy Chase. I listened to his interview on WTF Pod not long ago and he kept fricking with the interviewer. I think Pee Wee is hilarious and a great entertainer, but people who behave like that with zero shame are probably a chore to be around in real life.

You generally kind of feel sad when they get to the point in a documentary when the star passes away. But with this one it was kind of like "meh, alright".

I will say this much, he was really good in the movie "Blow".

Yea, they just talked about the weed usage. That theatre was right down the street from my house.

I watched the documentary today. Hard to watch. Though I have and always have had mixed feelings about what he did and what he got accused of, it was still a bad ending for him.

I will not go as far as calling him a pedo, I think there could have been some politics going on there but he did put himself in a bad situation. His need for attention was like these insta girls now. He just could not live without it. When the last project somewhat failed, he fell to pieces

He was a guy who worked his life to convince people that he was different and it was ok and they should accept him for it. But he never really accepted it himself

That's his best role, and one of the best death scenes ever.

This one is definitely on my watch list. I enjoyed all of his stuff. I always thought that Big Top Pee Wee was pretty funny. Of course its not as good as Big Adventure, but it had some good laughs in it with the talking pig.

One of the best things to come out of the entire porn theater arrest was Gilbert Godfried walking up to the podium at the next big awards show and stating, "If masturbation is a crime, I should be on death row".
