Thoughts?? I liked it. Olivia Wilde could have a bright future as a director. This couldn't be more different from the comedy she did a few years ago booksmart.

Despite all the wild press at the time, I liked it.
Ending was kinda meh and dumb to be honest. But everything before that I liked suspense wise.
I will say after learning that Wilde based Chris Pine’s character on Jordan Peterson, I was soured on it a lot. Completely inaccurate.

I didn't enjoy it at all honestly. Story was dumb, pacing was a bit all over the place, ending was an incredible let down, and the message Wilde was trying to send obviously wasn't intended for me.

This movie was bad, and tried to make you think that it was good because visually it was stunning. Florence Pugh acted her balls off though trying to make this movie work. But ultimately I had more questions than answers by the time the movie ended:
- Was Florence Pugh just lying in a pool of her own piss and shite while her body was in the real world but her subconscious was in the fake world?
- How was she receiving sustenance? Was somebody coming by and hooking her up to an IV in a feeding tube? Along that same line, how have her muscles not atrophied depending on how long her subconscious was in the fake world?
- How did she not go blind in the real world with her eyes just pried open like that? With somebody coming by to put eyedrops in her eyes?
- So the point of this fake world is to entice loser incels in to this luxurious fake life but in the real world as the Harry Styles character said they hard to bust their arse working to be able to pay it off. Were they working for Chris Pine in the real world? Because he was clearly the boss of the fake world
- Am I to believe that Olivia Wilde is married to Nick Kroll in real life? Harry Styles/Florence Pugh, sure I can believe that. That one doesn’t really work for me, brother
