The Hollywood Reporter

When Disney posted this to their social media, they clearly intended for it to seem like they did this for average fans at the park. They didn't indicate this was a promo event nor were the influencers tagged in the post. They just say, "wow these 'fans' got the surprise of a lifetime!"

Admittedly, Disney invited the online influencers who didn't know it was going to be Pedro in the suit. They were surprised, but who cares? They're grifters.

just another example of how Disney Wars is devoid of any genuine meaning

You mean they didn’t run into Pedro Pascal in full Mando costume organically?

Unfortunately for Disney, that's what they implied by their post. Sad isn't it?

The post does not imply they randomly bumped into eachother.

It says they were surprised by the Pascal, Weaver and Favreau.

Surprises can be planned. I know, I’ve had a surprise birthday party before.

Not really, the post says "Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, Filoni and Favreau surprised fans at Galaxy's Edge."

Weaver, Filoni and Favreau aren't even in this photo. there are more photos in the reel

No shite??

The implication isn’t about the Disney employees, it’s about the identity of the fans they were surprising. Do you not get that?

This damages the brand and hurts consumer trust in the company as a whole. It’s honestly just funny at this point because of how far they’ve tanked the property

wait so you don't think they saw any other people in the parks?

Here's the next post of them in Galaxy's Edge waving at a crowd of fans.

I didn’t say that they didn’t, the post that went viral about the surprise is what news outlets covered. Are you slow?

now you’re sidestepping the question of authenticity and implying they were regular park attendees and not shills

I’m gonna put the John Campea video here for you as well and he isn’t even a Disney hater, he’s the Paramount Ellison hater political persuasion type

Arguing that this wasn’t fake as hell and classic Disney Wars is.. retarded

they even called them fans not park goers.

But again, you’re arguing about the authenticity of a staged photo op.

The video, which went viral, actually said “Pedro creates the surprise of a lifetime at galaxy’s edge”

implying it was genuine.

If you defend this I can’t help you
