I'm fine with having a Snow White thread, just wish we could keep it contained to one thread, we had one yesterday, don't see the need for a new one today.

Dude, you’re advocating for fewer threads while simultaneously posting in multiple threads which promotes multiple threads. I don't think they'd be canceling/limiting all the press events if they thought it could get to a billion. Those events are expensive, but they function as important marketing. It's where all those meaningless red carpet actor quotes people here freak out about come from, it's where all the social media influencers watch it and start posting about it. They're supposed to generate interest and good vibes, regardless of the film's quality.
In addition suggesting the movie is bad, I think this also suggests it cost less than the rumors being spread about it. The more expensive the product, the harder it is to just dump it.
