Did Anyone Watch Gangland on History on Spike TV?

I recently procured all seven seasons and got hit with that nostalgia because they used to have rerun marathons on Spike TV all the time and was just entertaining to have on in the background.
Did anyone else use to watch this?

Yeah, I remember enjoying it but now that I think about it it was kind of repetitive as so many had similar backgrounds.
Invariably all the street gangs were black or Latino while all the white gangs were bikers or Aryans.

Iirc in the new Orleans episode both the crips and bloods tried to set up shop in NOLA, but failed miserably. They couldnt handle the killers in new Orleans and how "loyal" they were to their street or housing project. Also, I believe the street gangs in NOLA weren't like anywhere else, there wasn't a defined heirarchy they were all just killers and drug dealers. It's been years since I watched that show though.

I loved these.
I really wish they would stream it somewhere.
Always found it very interesting about the military like structures in alot of how these gangs were set up.
You also have to wonder how some of these informants are able to live their lives having gone in on these gangs and taken them down. Id have my head on a swivel.
The Latin Kings and MS13 seemed to be the most ruthless out of them all. At least most gangs tended to stay away from Woman and kids. Nope, they didnt care at all.
Like i said, wish i can catch all the seasons as i missed quite a few.

A good friend of mine is an ATF agent here in AZ and a few years back he introduced me to a former ATF agent named Jay Dobyns, who had infiltrated the Hells Angels and his story was on "Gangland". Dobyns played football at Arizona and was an interesting cat with stories of being at the Branch Davidian standoff at Waco (both agents were on the rooftops there)and getting shot while undercover. He didn't talk as much about the Hells Angels, which was understandable since there was a price on his head at the time. I still see that episode played often.

They did say that, and I have always heard that in other references and music. I believe it, Baton Rouge as well. Its all about your neighborhood/street/project. However, with social media and these dumb kids these days they all wanna play "gangbanger" so who knows.
ETA: I think "the streets" have changed everywhere with social media and all the older figures dead or in jail (see Chicago where 15 year olds are blasting each other over social media disses).
