Who is the Jamie that Masuka's intern got a text from? Perhaps Masuka's hot former intern.
dude, you serious... have you not watched the show?
it's Batista's sister. he is ignoring her calls because he thinks she is toying with him after what batista said.

now lets talk about how Quinn obviously was in the hotel room with the hooker when she OD'd on Heroine...
He tried to revive her but it didnt work. He went to Laguarda to help him cover it up so they both look good.
He's obviously struggling right now, and he wasnt available at the scene of the crime.
to show how bad he is and how he is either drunk or drugged out to further give credit to the fact that he was the one in the room with the hooker.

Yep. Can't wait for Quinn to be done away with.

I like Quinn, but this strung out Quinn does suck.
He needs to go to rehab for a few weeks and come back clean.

I'm thinking it was captain Matthews. Well, former captain.

Who was Laguerta on the phone with after talking to Deb?

I honestly never knew her name.

My money is on Quinn
1: He wasn't at the scene of the crime. They made a point of having him talk to Batista about how he couldn't make it to the investigation.
2: He has been shown multiple times drunk, and has also shown a willingness to do drugs, although Heroine seems pretty extreme.
I know its not a lot of evidence but I feel its enough.
We dont see the old captain enough to care about whether he kills a hooker or not. Batista didn't have anything to do with it either. Quinn is the only other person.

That's what we thought. In fact, in the first episode of the season he and LaGuerta have a private discussion in his office and make it clear that LaGuerta is being promoted because she has something on Matthews. I don't think LaGuerta would go out on a limb for Quinn.

how do you figure?
Didn't Dexter look up and see Gellar above him in the old church? Then Dexter said to himself, "(Gellar) has seen me and knows what I look like".
Man, if Gellar is in Travis' imagination, than Travis is REALLY messed up to kill his own sister and set her up like that. Even more than what has already been done.
I wasn't thinking of Quinn being with the dead prostitute, but that makes sense. Is there any change we saw that prostitute in the background of that bar that Quinn was drunk in?

Exactly, if I remember correctly there was a scene in the first episode of this season where LaGuerta and Matthews were both in a car and LaGuerta said something along the lines of:
It would be a big story if news were to get out that his name was in the black book of a famous call girl.
She was more specific though, I just can't remember exactly what she said.

That does make sense. My only problem with that is that I have no emotional connection to Matthews at all. I mean I don't have a huge connection to Quinn but at least he has had more than 3 lines this season. TO involve a character I care so little about would be a mistake IMO. But I don't write for a huge successful TV show on a major cable network, so what do I know.

I agree. The only reason I could think of would be possible some future implication for the other main and/or supporting characters. If this ends up getting out and matthews is forced to resign, maybe the cover up ends up becoming more complicated, or maybe Deb won't agree with covering this up but is not sure how to deal with it because Matthews is and has always been good to her.

Actually Gellar was present when we were seeing through Travis' eyes. When Dexter looked up Gellar had "moved". My assumption is that Dexter just assumed Gellar had seen him.

Did the "fake" Gellar Knock the shite out of him with a "fake" shovel? I understand why he is perceived to be "fake" and agreed earlier in the season..just seems like now that he is "real".

Well, what we saw was from Travis' POV. We never saw Gellar hit him from a third person's point of view. Plus, I didn't notice any real injuries to Travis' forehead or face. He was just dirty.

Great Point VOR...I just cant wrap my mind around Travis being that Batshite crazy but i may be wrong!! We shall see.

Didn't Deb say the injuries of the fruit stand guy, the jogger, and Travis's sister indicated that it was the same killer?
Posted on 11/21/11 at 9:17 am to TheFolker
She did, but the sister was missing the numbers on her.
